How we define "Sustainability"

At the core of our Sustainability definition is the premise that all components of our work and process are interconnected. Thus, we maintain a holistic view of how each decision we make affects the larger whole. We aim to source, grow, and produce our fine woolen apparel using 100% domestic resources, without jeopardizing the availability and viability of these resources for future generations. We invite you to learn more about the standards that benchmark our sustainability practices on the farm, and in the environment, for our animals and their ecosystems, for our people, the greater community, and ultimately, for our products.

Ramblers Way Farm - pioneering sustainable wool apparel

In our attempt to address the carbon impact of Ramblers Way Farm we have enlisted the assistance of an organization that is in the business of solving the global warming problem. Clean Air-Cool Planet, is an environmental group that works with leading campuses, communities, corporations and science centers to help develop and implement pragmatic solutions. CA-CP is undertaking a review of all the components of Ramblers Way Farm, from sheep grazing in the fields, through the entire process to you (shearing, transportation, scouring, combing, spinning, knitting, sewing, ordering and distribution) helping us understand our footprint and identifying opportunities where we can improve our sustainable practices to assert leadership in our quest to become carbon neutral.
