We grow our own wool and buy from Rambouillet ranches in Montana, Nevada, Texas, and Utah.
No other agent or owner is involved from the sheep farm to you, a control which gives us maximum flexibility to create what we think you want. Our ranchers are pleased to know where their wool is ending up, proud that they have been a part of the process, and hopeful for the American plan to serve your needs.
We scour, card, and comb in Jamestown, South Carolina; spin in Pickens; knit in Lumberton, and cut, sew, and dye in New England.
American pride and family owned businesses are the mark of our supply chain. Because we have such local control, we can respond with inventories to meet unexpected consumer demand. We also keep finished goods inventory of sizes not often stocked at retail which allows them a quick turnaround for a direct ship to your home.
We aim to make the apparel business local, sustainable, and consumer responsive rather than its current off shore, low cost operating, polluting process.
Do you support local agriculture by buying foods grown close to home?
