The 4 oz. jersey is our everyday, 4-season answer to a comfortable, itch-free base layer. It’s super-lightweight and thin enough to create bulk-free layering under any outfit yet it packs a punch in insulating and moisture-wicking performance. There are no dyes, chemicals, or stabilizers to hold on to odors--just pure, naturally resilient wool. We had the state-of-the-art Merrow Machine Company custom build sewing machines to meet our demand for a smooth, invisible, chafe-less seam. Our flat seams are different from the others you’ve seen: sleeker, tailored, more refined.

I did a real trial of this shirt for warmth, comparing it with the synthetic and silk shirts I usually layer on in cold weather. There is no question that my Ramblers Way wool shirt was warmer. I just received my camisole and long sleeved top and I am thrilled! I have already worn the camisole both alone, and as a layering piece. I hate to cover it up though! It really is just as soft as cotton, and it is stylish. I wasn't sure how a wool cami would look in real life, but it is great. My teenaged daughter got the long sleeved top, mostly as a future camping item, but she is wearing hers as well. Thank you for giving us a choice that isn't all synthetic for warm layering!

I have been wearing the Rambler's way top, and it is my first official trial run, and it is FABULOUSLY warm and cozy throughout the day, especially in these increasingly cold days. When I wasn't wearing it, I was noticeably colder as I went through my day. I have been riding in it too, and it provides a nice underlayer of warmth without the bulk. Way to go!

I absolutely LOVE the shirt I bought. Now that temps have taken a nosedive, I practically live in it! It's extremely warm - not too much, just comfortable. I love the fine weight and weave. I can easily wear it under business casual clothes without feeling bulky. It reminds me of a longjohn shirt I bought in Germany many years ago but could never duplicate. Our products are shipped in environmentally-friendly packaging, using recycled, compostable, and biodegradable materials. Our standard shipping is UPS Ground (approx. 3-5 business days in transit) at a cost of $15.
