the label said dry clean only and we would never do that! i fussed and complained; customer service was kind and supportive. anyway, turned out this great cozy vest did fine with a hand wash cycle on our machine. wool does need special care, of course... the vest is well made, comfy and such a nice cream of tomato soup color!
