At 135 gsm this is the lightest weight we make, and lighter than the lightest weight most brands sell. That is what lets a camisole lie flat under a fitted blouse and a legging go under jeans without bunching. The wool is spun to 19.5 micron, below the point where most people feel prickle, so it can be worn all day directly against skin.
Where to start depends on how you will wear it. The Jewel Neck and the Camisole vanish under a sweater. The Scoop Neck and the V-Neck are finished enough to wear on their own. The Camisole Slip sits smoothly under a dress without clinging or overheating. The Base Layer Leggings go under everything. The American Wool Beanie is the one piece here made from wool grown in the United States.
Merino works in both directions, warm in cold air and cool when a room is overheated, and it resists odor well enough to wear several days between washes. One piece here covers a range that would otherwise take three.
